Yeah i was on this one too. They sure made us sweat it with such a terrible performance. Thank god the refs were betting on this game too. Miss a blatant handball/penalty kick then reward one to the other team for acting... nevermind the senseless red card to put tunisia a man down to begin with...

I have never seen so many consensus picks going down in flames. Just look at today: Don't want to know how many people had the over in the ukraine game and especially the spain game and what happened? Both ending 1:0. Spain and Ukraine were till now over machines and today they are not able to score more than 1 goal against the 2 worst teams in this tournament. This is simply pathetic, but typical for soccer betting. And then you have the problems with the refs and 3 possible outcomes. If somebody would ask me for advice i would say to stay far away from soccer, especially from betting totals.Totals are the fastest way to burn the whole bankroll.
By the way:Before the WC I made the following bet with a buddy who is a soccer expert: I will bet my games with flipping a coin and he will cap his games. What happened? you guess it, till now he is trailing.

i hear you and i understand your thought, but exactly the opposite was the most used reason for a high scoring spain game. Everybody was saying that these teams have nothing to play for and therefore they will play without hesitation. And besides the reserve players from spain will play their best game to show the coach they belong in the team.

yeah, this World Cup/Soccer stuff isnt the best thing out there.
Be careful in this forum. Last week I came in here blindly, voiced my thoughts (mostly if not all negative about this sport soccer), several of the soccer guru's gave me the business (well taken, they were just voicing their thoughts, no problem with that, I can take a punch and come back for more).
Anyways, I had to laugh out loud when you said something about flipping a coin vs listening to the WC expert and guess which way is ahead?

But for the most part, hearing/reading about the crummy refs and lack of scoring,lack of shots on goal (did i read that USA had a total of 4 shots on goal in 3 games, if that's true, wtf = that's exciting?) these games are a snooze.
